Desiring to preserve invaluable natural resources and promote natural endowments, DHC Group invested hundreds of billions of Vietnamese dong to build Nui Than Tai into a high-class tourist area and the most attractive destination in Vietnam.
Awakening “God of Fortune”
Nui Than Tai, about 30 km from the center of Da Nang City, lies in Ba Na Nui Chua Nature Reserve (Phu Tuc village, Hoa Phu commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang City). Immense primeval forests and poetic streams make this mountain majestically beautiful and cool. A day in Ba Na has the climate of four seasons in the day.
Carrying a majestic and charming beauty, Nui Than Tai however seems to be forgotten. Not until 2013 were the values of this mountain revealed, originated from the dedication of DHC Group.
With the desire to promote the bestowed nature, in 2013, DHC Group decided to invest in the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, turning it into a world-class ecological resort. The project, kicked off in 2014, was invested by DHC Suoi Doi Joint Stock Company, a member of DHC Group, with a total investment of over VND500 billion (US$22 million).
With the high determination and dedication of the investor, after only 2 years, in 2016, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park was officially put into operation with a completely different face. The investor built Nui Than Tai into a tourist destination that can serve more than 20,000 visitors at the same time, where visitors not only can admire and explore the majestic beauty of the mountains and immerse themselves in the fresh air of nature, but also experience many unique services from nature, such as hot spring bathing services, mineral mud bath, tea bath, coffee bath and ONSEN bath.
Besides, large-scale entertainment and recreation facilities such as large water park with the longest slide in Vietnam, wave-creating lake, and Jura Park with more than 100 giant moveable dinosaurs of more than 30 meters high, more than 60 species, create a sense of excitement and novelty for visitors.
In order to serve tourists' accommodation needs, the investor built a 4-star Ebisu Hotel, designed to rest comfortably on the hillside where visitors can cast their eyes on mountainous forests.
With these investments, tourists to Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park are on the rise. On weekends, especially on holidays every day, up to 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors come here to relax. In 2018 alone, the park served over 500,000 visitors.
Natural landscape is fully preserved
Despite being invested in many items, the space of Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park always makes people feel pleasant. Mr. Pham Khac Duong, Executive Director of Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, said that, when carrying out this project, the investor always places the conservation goal first.
“When carrying out the project, we minimized impacts on the natural landscape and the natural environment. Therefore, the landscape at Nui Than Tai retains its distinctive natural character,” she said.
Following the steps of Mr. Pham Khac Duong to visit Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, I feel a true sense of primitivity. Bungalows look like miniature garden houses, surrounded by green trees. The accommodation is located on the back of the hill. The water slide designed prominently in the green creates a cool space full of charm that only this place has.
“We will continue to invest more items to improve service quality for tourists. But, no matter what item is built, keeping the green of the mountains and the poetic scene of Nui Than Tai is the most important. By doing so, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature,” said Mr. Pham Khac Duong.
